An Australian man was arrested Friday after he asked a Muslim woman to go back to her country.

A man in his mid 60s verbally assaulted the woman, who was wearing a 'niqab' (veil) while shopping at a supermarket at Logan in Queensland, Brisbane Times reported.

"You are a Muslim, go back to your country," police claim the man told the woman.

The man is facing three counts of common assault, which covers verbal assault, and one count of obstructing police.
