US-based business communications company Avaya Holdings Corporation on Monday globally released its "Avaya internet protocol (IP) Office", a unified communication cloud solution to create seamless customer-employee engagement regardless of their locations, devices, or apps.

"Avaya IP office will enhance business productivity by collaborating all communication channels, meetings, teams and content sharing with one app," the company said in a statement.

"The Avaya IP Office solution serves over 26 million users and is growing and by providing a single app to access all the tools needed to efficiently communicate and collaborate, we're truly enabling teams to work smarter, not harder," said Chris McGugan, Senior Vice President, Solutions and Technologies, Avaya.

The new Avaya IP office adds support for "Avaya Equinox", the company's signature unified communication experience and new capabilities that provide an enterprise-level experience with the ease of use and management that small and mid-size businesses require.

"With support for Avaya Equinox and all deployment options, Avaya IP Office offers partners and small and midsize business customers a proven UC solution with an advanced, contemporary user interface designed for highly mobile and collaborative work environments," said Elka Popova, Vice President and Senior Fellow, Frost & Sullivan, a US-based business consulting firm.

Also, the company claimed that "Avaya Chronicall for IP Office", an all-purpose call history, call recording, and real-time reporting software suite, developed by Avaya DevConnect partner, Xima, provides over 50 standard plus customizable reports that support visual call management, customizable displays and agent performance, available in both on-premises and cloud deployments powered by Avaya IP Office.

With Avaya IP office, also being launched as a cloud platform, partners will be able to offer full cloud or hybrid cloud deployment delivery mode, along with new wizards and management tool installations to deploy and manage both premises-based and cloud options faster and better, the company added.
