Two Pakistani cameramen of two television news channels were among those killed when a suicide bomber exploded himself in a hospital in Quetta.

The two were Aaj News cameraman Shahzad Khan and DawnNews' Mehmood Khan.

Shahzad Khan had been working for Aaj News for seven years. His body had been shifted to his house from the Combined Military Hospital, the channel said.

DawnNews Quetta bureau chief Syed Ali Shah said cameraman Mehmood Khan was "a dedicated, young, god-fearing man" who is survived by four children.

Mehmood Khan was also the guardian to his brother's three children.

Mehmood Khan joined DawnNews several years ago as a security guard. As he showed interest in working in the newsroom, he became a non-linear editor. For the last two years, he was working as a cameraman for DawnNews.

Mehmood Khan was preparing to apply for admission to a Masters in Mass Communication when he was killed.

A powerful bomb ripped through the Civil Hospital in Queeta on Monday, killing at least 63 people, mostly lawyers.
