Bangladesh, Brazil and the Maldives on Wednesday joined the list of countries that have condemned the terror attack on the Indian Air Force base in Pathankot that claimed the lives of seven security personnel.
"Bangladesh FM (Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood) writes to EAM (External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj), strongly condemns the #PathankotAttack, says that it firmly stands beside India in fight against terrorism," external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup tweeted.
In another tweet, he said Brazil and Maldives were also among the countries that condemned the attack and expressed their condolences.
At least seven security personnel lost their lives and six terrorists were killed following Saturday's audacious attack on the Indian Air Force base in Pathankot.
