Bangladesh authorities are set to bring back 125 illegal migrants rescued at sea by the Myanmar navy, a media report said on Tuesday.
According to sources, the illegal migrants will be repatriated after a flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Myanmar's immigration department on Tuesday, bdnews24 reported.
International Organisation for Migration (IOM) National Programme Officer Asif Munier said they have completed all formalities for the repatriation.
He added that one or two more people could be included in the list to be handed over to the representatives during the flag meeting.
The list includes 20 to 25 adolescents, the IOM official said adding that they would provide humanitarian help for them until they reach home.
Myanmar Navy rescued 208 boat people on May 22 and another 727 on May 27.
Bangladesh brought 501 of them back in four phases on June 8, June 19, July 22 and Aug 10.
