A Bangladeshi fisherman was allegedly killed by Myanmar's border guards on Monday morning, an official said.

The official told Xinhua news agency that a group of Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP) intruded into Bangladeshi waters on a speedboat and opened fire, killing fisherman Nurul Amin, 32, on the spot.

Another fisherman was injured when the BGP opened fire.
