Spanish football club Barcelona defeated French team Paris Saint German (PSG) 3-1 to top Group F of the UEFA Champions League.
While the PSG scored first, thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in the 14th minute, Barcelona quickly recovered with a goal by Argentine superstar Lionel Messi in the 18th minute Wednesday night, reports Xinhua.
Messi now has a total of 75 goals under his belt in all Champions League competitions.
Barcelona went on to score again just before half time, in the 40th minute with a strike from Brazilian superstar Neymar.
In the second half, the French appeared to dominate possession, so much so that Barcelona coach Luis Enrique substituted Swiss-Croatian player Ivan Rakitic bringing in Pedro into the midfield.
The strategy paid off, especially after Xavi Hernandez took over from Andres Iniesta, with a third goal in the 77th minute by Uruguay's Luis Suarez.
Barcelona attacking trio of Luis Suarez, Neymar and Messi played crucial roles in defeating the French club.
