Former F1 driver Rubens Barrichello has won the most important event on Brazil's stock car calendar by taking out the $440,000 Corrida do Milhao.
The victory Sunday in the central Brazilian city of Goiania was Barrichello's first since he began competing in the stock car series in 2012, reports Xinhua.
Thiago Camila finished in second place, just 0.186 seconds behind, while Galid Osman was third, 10.26 seconds further back.
Barrichello pledged to donate half the prize money to his Full Time Competicoes team with the remainder going to the Barrichello Kanaan Institute.
The 42-year-old ended his F1 career in 2011 after 19 seasons in which he competed for Jordan, Steward, Ferrari, Honda, Brawn and Williams.
