Anastasiya Prokopenko of Belarus has won the women's individual gold medal at the Modern Pentathlon World Cup here.
Prokopenko on Saturday came sixth in the fencing, 35th in the swimming and 17th in the riding, but she won the final combined run/shoot event. She scored a total of 1,352 points for the gold, reports Xinhua.
Local hope Zsofia Foldhazi scored 1,342 points for the silver medal, with France's Julie Belhamri in third place on 1,339.
China's Zhang Xiaonan won the opening fencing event and placed second in the riding. She started the combined event in first place, but crossed the finish line in fourth place.
Marie Oteiza of France, Annika Schleu of Germany, Freyja Prentice and Kate French, both of Britain, filled out the fifth to eighth places respectively.
The competition continues on Sunday with the men's final. The mixed event will be on Monday.

Eighty-three women and 93 men are competing. Many of them are still pursuing Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualifying points.
The Hungarian event is the fourth of five World Cup meets. The final meet will be held in Sarasota, Florida in May.
