With one more person succumbing to swine flu on Sunday, the death count from the disease rose to 20 in West Bengal since January, a senior health official said.

"The victim, in his 60s, passed away at a hospital in neighbouring Howrah," said Health Secretary Malay Dey.

He said the patient was on ventilator support for some time.

He said over the last 24 hours seven more people have tested positive for the H1N1 virus that causes swine flu, pushing up the total number of patients in the state to 311.
