Napoli head coach Rafa Benitez praised Gonzalo Higuain for making the difference in his side's 3-1 win over AC Milan at home.
Higuain scored a brace after the break Saturday to seal the win for Napoli, their first in four Serie A ties, reports Xinhua.
"Clearly Gonzalo can make the difference but his teammates helped him a great deal and we created so many chances. We could've scored a lot more," said Benitez.
Higuain was never in doubt about what Napoli could achieve.
"I am convinced we are on the right track. We had some good performances recently and lacked good fortune but always showed character. I am happy we got the win against a great side. If I don't score, someone else will," he said.
Benitez also praised the whole team for their impressive performance.

"I have to compliment my players as against Roma and now Milan they played with intensity, pace and quality," he said, acceding that Milan adopted an attack game to allow Napoli to play their own game.
"In recent weeks we had basically beaten Bologna and conceded at the 93rd minute, Chievo had one shot on goal and we gave Atlanta three assists. It is different playing against a side like Roma or Milan, who attack and give you space to play football," he added.
