Besides flirting, 'Vibhutiji' loves cooking (TV Snippets)

Actor Aasif Sheikh, who plays the role of Vibhutiji in "Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai?", is very fond of cooking and loves to treat his family and friends.

Aasif is popular for bringing biryani and gosht on the set. In his spare time, he loves to relax at home and spends most of his time in kitchen.

"Cooking is an art and I feel blessed by the fact that it brings joy to my family and people around me. Good food is not just a way to the man's heart but everyone in general," Aasif said in a statement.

"People like me on the set because I get food for them at times. The makers knew that I like cooking and hence, they have incorporated the same characteristics to my onscreen character Vibhuti as well," he added.

 

In "Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai?", which airs on &TV, Aasif is seen as an flirty husband who is smitten by his neighbour's wife.

Apart from Aasif, the show also stars Rohitash Gaud, Shilpa Shinde and Saumya Tandon.

'Ashoka Samrat' gets 'Game of Thrones' touch in story

While American fantasy show "Game of Thrones" is known for various illegitimate affairs and deaths in its day-to-day episodes, popular Indian historical drama show "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" will next witness a similar kind twist in its storyline!

Noor's (Ankita Sharma) illegal affair with Justin (Sumit Kaul) will be revealed.

In the forthcoming episode, Siamak (M.D. Faizan), who was believed by everyone to be Emperor Bindusara's (Sameer Dharmadhikari) son, will be declared as the illegitimate child of Noor (one of Emperor Bindusara's wives) and Justin (Bindusara's half brother).

Talking about the sequence, Sumit said in a statement: "As an actor, I enjoyed performing the scene thoroughly as there was so much drama and emotion in it. The timing of revelation is at a time when he is ready to put everything at jeopardy in order to save the love of his life, Noor."

"As a character, I feel it is a high point for Justin and his relationship with Noor. He is in the relationship...because he truly loves Noor. To know that he is the father of Noor's child makes him realise that he matters most to Noor. It gives their love story a higher meaning."

Radha-Krishna love saga on TV soon

A series focussing on the eternal love story of Lord Krishna and Radha will soon enter the small screen through "Radha Krishna...Ek Aalokik Prem Gaatha".

To be aired on Zee TV, the story of the upcoming show will be told from Radha's perspective. The show is currently under production, read a statement.

"'Radha Krishna...Ek Aalokik Prem Gaatha' is a divine love story that has engrossed poets, painters and musicians alike. Their love story is eternal. The unique selling point of the series is that they were the only pious lovers in history who never got married but are worshipped in temples across the globe," Pradeep Hejmadi, business head of the channel, said in a statement.

"To showcase this benevolent romance from Radha's viewpoint will surely make for engaging and refreshing television viewing," he added.
