Real Betis Coach Gustavo Poyet travelled to London "for personal reasons" and missed his team's training session amid rumours about his imminent dismissal.
Sources from the club said that this trip was planned days before and the coach would have done the same even if Betis was La Liga leader. However, his absence comes amid news about his approaching dismissal, reports Efe.
After losing 0-2 in Villarreal last Sunday, Poyet has led four training sessions before leaving for London. The training is now led by his assistant Mauricio Taricco.
Betis is ranked 14th in La Liga with 11 points, after six defeats, two draws and three wins.
