Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) received some 9,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid since being hit last month by the worst flooding in 120 years, officials said Wednesday.
Border crossings registered a total of 1,188 vehicles which delivered humanitarian assistance to BiH, Xinhua quoted Ratko Kovacevic, spokesperson of the BiH Indirect Taxation Authority, as saying.
Most of the humanitarian supplies were food, clothes and medicine, local media sai, adding that those humanitarian shipments were given the priority to cross the border.
Apart from aid shipments, BiH also received many rescuers and experts from the European Union and neighbouring countries.
