Yesteryear's Bollywood film star Biswajit Chatterjee will contest the coming Lok Sabha polls on Trinamool Congress ticket from New Delhi and not South Delhi as announced earlier, the party announced Friday.
"Biswajit will fight from New Delhi constituency and not South Delhi," Trinamool national general secretary Mukul Roy told media persons here.
The party also announced a new candidate for Ranaghat Lok Sabha seat in West Bengal, in place of Saugata Barman, who has met with an accident.
Roy said Tapas Mondal, an associate professor and reader of Bidhan Chandra Krishi University, would be the new nominee.
"Saugata Barman is now immobile after meeting with an accident," Roy said.

He also announced party candidates from Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar.
In Andaman and Nicobar, Anita Bhakta (Mondal) will be in fray on a Trinamool ticket. She is the daughter of eight-time Andaman MP Manoranjan Bhakta.
Nakul Das Raj will be the Trinamool candidate from Sikkim.
Roy claimed that the Samata Party in Gujarat has adopted a resolution to merge the party with Trinamool.
