The BJP on Monday refuted as baseless and without facts the allegations made by the Congress about Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's son Dushyant Singh's ownership of Dholpur Palace, which has been converted into a hotel.
State BJP president Ashok Parnami, addressing a press conference here, said: "All the allegations are baseless and the Congress is running a smear campaign to tarnish the image of Vasundhara Raje."
Parnami also invited Congress leader and former union minister Jairam Ramesh, who made the allegations against Raje, to enter into a debate with him on the issue, and termed the charges as absurd.
"Either he should prove charges or else quit politics," he said.
Parnami said: "Look, the party which has a history of corruption is levelling allegations against us."
