Actress Blake Lively, who is a huge fan of supermodel Kate Moss' style, says it is very important for her to wear clothes that accentuates her waist.

The former "Gossip Girl" star has, however, learned not to copy the British supermodel's looks as they are not always flattering on her figure.

"There are things that I see on Kate Moss and think, 'I have to have that,' but when I try it on me I look like a potato," people.com quoted Lively as saying.

"I don't like to wear things that don't look right on my body - that Twenties drop waist, or even Sixties mod. If you don't cinch in the waist it looks like I'm just hiding, you know, animals? I just start to look like the cargo part of an airplane," she said.

The 27-year-old, who is married to actor Ryan Reynolds, also refuses to hire a stylist because she thinks that's one of the most fun aspects of her job.

"Fashion is such a passion of mine. That's the reason I don't have a stylist, not because I think I can do it better than any of these people, but because I just love it so much that it would be like handing over something," she said.

"It would be like making a cake and then handing it off to someone else to ice and decorate. Why would you do that?" she added.
