A constable of Bihar Military Police has been shot dead by a colleague with his service rifle in Muzaffarpur district, police said on Thursday.
Premchand Kumar, a BMP constable shot dead Manish Kumar late on Wednesday when he was sleeping in the barrack.
The accused was depressed and mentally disturbed for the last few days, according to BMP officials.
He was arrested soon after and his service rifle was also seized, Muzaffarpur Senior Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar said.
