After producing two National Award-winning documentaries -- "Inshallah, Kashmir" and "Inshallah Football" -- Javed Jaffrey has moved on to feature films with "BMW" and describes it as an intelligent thriller.
"I have produced my first film titled 'BMW'. It is a thriller, which has been made keeping in mind the international audience and Indian as well. It is an intelligent thriller and well-made, which will hopefully be appreciated in the international circuit," the 49-year-old said here Thursday.
"BMW" stars Tanishtha Chatterjee, Sarita Chaudhary, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Adil Hussain, Vijay Raaz and Javed himself.
"It is about encounter cops and an Indian girl who visits Mumbai from the US to cover the issue," said Javed.
When asked what is tougher, acting or producing, he said: "Being a producer is tough. They have to go through so much - dates, money, and release. It's quite crazy."
Javed was speaking at an event organised for the TV show "Ninja Warrior", a dubbed version of the Japanese show "Sasuke". It is aired on Hungama TV and Javed does the Hindi dubbing for it.
