Varied looks inspired by Bollywood's villains and vamps over 100 years of Indian cinema came alive at Grey Goose IIFA Rocks, a fashion show on the eve of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards.

The IIFA Rocks fashion show, presented by designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil, was held Friday night, reflecting the strong association between Bollywood and fashion.

Dark and heavy colours like red and navy blue ruled the occasion with anarkali suits and dresses high on flares and drapes. The designers added bling to their collection by pairing golden borders and bases with the dresses.

While the women represented Bollywood vamps with their dark and mysterious looks, the men flaunted fitted trousers and coats.

It was actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, the showstopper, who took the limelight when he sashayed the ramp in a dark brown suit teamed with broad-ended trousers. His stylish moustache only added to his powerful presence.

If the fashion quotient was high, so was the entertainment quota courtesy splendid performances by actors Arjun Kapoor, Sonu Sood and Dia Mirza as well as singer Arijit Singh.

The ceremony also witnessed the distribution of IIFA technical awards, in which director Anurag Basu's "Barfi!" led the race.

Among the other attractions were actors Vir Das and Boman Irani's hosting skills as they tickled the audiences' funny bone.
