Actor Brad Pitt, who has been cleared of child abuse allegations, has thanked fans for their support.
Pitt, 52, attended his first public red carpet event since splitting from wife Angelina Jolie in September -- at the premiere of his new movie "Allied" here on Wednesday.
The actor, who wasn't wearing his wedding ring, spent a lot of time signing autographs for fans and said he was grateful for their "kindness", reports mirror.co.uk.
"It's really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here. It's really nice to have all the support," he said.
His appearance came the same day as the Los Angeles County Department Of Children And Family Services (DCFS) cleared him of child abuse allegations.
It follows weeks of extensive investigations into claims he had struck his 15-year-old son Maddox on board a private jet in late September while under the influence of alcohol.
