Brazil's Beira-Rio World Cup stadium in the southern city of Porto Alegre is set to be officially re-opened Feb 15, authorities said.
The venue's owners, Brazilian top-flight side Internacional, confirmed Friday that the re-inauguration will feature a match against their local rivals Caxias, reported Xinhua.
Just 10,000 seats will be made available for the fixture.
Beira-Rio will be only the eighth of Brazil's 12 World Cup stadiums to be ready for the June 12 - July 13 event.
The stadium, due to host five World Cup matches, began its $142 million revamp in December 2010.
