Brazilian teenager Robert will undergo a medical test at Barcelona on Monday ahead of a January move to the Catalan football club, according to media reports.
The 19-year-old travelled to Barcelona on Saturday after his club Fluminense agreed to terms for a one-year loan, Globoesporte reported, according to Xinhua.
"It is a unique opportunity in the life of Robert," agent Vitor Leal was quoted as saying. "It's great for him to have the interest of one of the biggest clubs in the world. Robert is very happy and is looking forward to be able to start training as soon as possible."
The deal is expected to include an option to buy the attacker at the end of the loan period for five million euros.
Barcelona have been barred from the past two transfer windows for breaching regulations regarding the signing of foreign under-age player.
