British gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.7 percent between the first quarter and the second of 2015, unrevised from the second estimate of GDP published a month ago, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
Compared with the same quarter a year ago, the British GDP increased by 2.4 percent, revised down 0.2 percentage points from the previously published estimate, Xinhua quoted ONS as saying on Wednesday.
Production output grew by 0.7 percent in the second quarter compared with the first quarter of 2015, unrevised from the previously published estimate.

When comparing the second quarter of 2015 with the same period of 2014, production output increased by 1.2 percent, revised down 0.2 percentage points.
Construction output increased by 1.4 percent in the second quarter, revised up 1.2 percentage points from the previous estimate.
The sector output increased by 3.9 percent between the second quarter of 2014 and the same period of 2015, revised up 1.4 percentage points.
The service industries rose by 0.6 percent, revised down 0.1 percentage point from the previous estimate, marking the tenth consecutive quarter of positive growth. This sector increased by 2.7 percent compared with the same quarter of previous year.
Agriculture output gained 0.4 percent, and grew by 1.1 percent in the second quarter compared with the same period of 2014.
Annual GDP was estimated to have increased by 2.9 percent in 2014, compared with 2013, revised down 0.1 percentage point from the previously published estimate.
