Socialite-actress Brooke Mueller, who is undergoing psychiatric treatment in a rehab here, is said to have got the permission to meet her sons, four-year-old twins Bob and Max.
The Department of Children and Family Services here has reportedly granted permissions to Mueller to meet her sons during the weekend, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The 35-year-old was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold following a drug overdose in May, after which she checked into the rehab and temporarily lost custody of her sons. She had the twins with her ex-husband, actor Charlie Sheen.
"Brooke won't be alone with the twins. The monitor will make sure the boys are safe and the visit can be immediately terminated if the boys are in distress," said a source.
"Brooke saw the boys last weekend. The boys aren't allowed to stay overnight with her at this point in her treatment," the source added.
It was previously said that Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards, will retain custody of the twins till the end of the year.

Richards also has two childrens Lola, eight, and Sam, nine, with Sheen. The couple has also adopted daughter Eloise, two.
"(Child protective services) recommended that while Brooke continues to get treatment for her drug addiction, the twins continue to live with Denise for the rest of the year," said the source.
"Brooke is going to need to demonstrate during that time a commitment to her sobriety and recovery, and not have any dirty drug tests. Denise is thrilled to take care of the twins and hopes to make it permanent. The boys are doing extremely well in her care," the source added.
