BSF seizes counterfeit currency in Bengal

The Border Security Force Thursday recovered counterfeit Indian currency with a face value of Rs.2 lakh from a border outpost in West Bengal, an official release said.

The money, contained in a plastic bag, was thrown into the Indian side in Malda district from across the Bangladesh border.

The BSF also seized counterfeit Indian currency with a face value of Rs.9 lakh in the state Aug 24.
