Bulgaria's coalition government on Friday survived the first no-confidence motion in parliament since it took power in November 2014.

The opposition BSP Left Bulgaria and Movement for Rights and Freedoms parties have accused the coalition government, led by Prime Minister Boiko Borisov's GERB party, of failing to reform the healthcare sector, Xinhua reported.

The vote was only backed by 80 deputies, while 130 voted against it and five abstained.

Borissov was also prime minister from 2009 to 2013. He survived four no-confidence motions but resigned amid national protests against high bills for electricity and heating.
