Aiming to pay tribute to the Dec 16 gang-rape victim, some NGOs will organise a bus ride from Dwarka to Central Delhi in the national capital on that day.
The bus ride will start at 4 p.m.
The bus ride, being organised by Justice Seekers, Centre for Social Research and ANHAD, right groups activists, aims to highlight the lack of women's security in the city.
"The bus ride has a symbolic significance as it was on a bus that the horrific incident occurred two years ago," said a joint statement issued by the NGOs.
A petition on women's safety will also be sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the day, the statement said.
On Dec 16, 2012, a 23-year-old girl was brutally gang-raped in a moving bus here. The incident shook the nation's conscience and led to widespread protests. The girl succumbed to her injuries Dec 29, 2012 in a Singapore hospital where she had been airlifted for specialised treatment.
