Cricket Australia (CA) Friday said that Victorian Bushrangers captain Matthew Wade has been found guilty of breaching the CA Code of Behaviour following his team's Matador One-Day Cup match loss to Queensland at North Sydney Oval Tuesday.

Wade has accepted the penalty of a one match suspension and a fine of 50 percent of his match fee. This means Wade will be unavailable for Victoria's Matador One-Day Cup match against New South Wales at Blacktown International Sports Park Friday, said a CA release.

Wade was reported by Cricket Victoria CEO Tony Dodemaide for breaching Article 2.1.2 - Abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings during a match.

After being dismissed, Wade went into the change room and threw a water bottle which broke a window.

Wade has accepted to cover costs to repair the damage caused to the change room.
