A 10-gram gold coin to mark Sachin Tendulkar's penultimate game at the Eden Gardens was released by Cricket Association of Bengal president Jagmohan Dalmiya here Tuesday.
The coin would be used for the toss in the India-West Indies cricket Test match slated to begin Wednesday.
The "head" side of the coin has Tendulkar's portrait while "CAB, Eden Gardens, November 6, 2013" is embossed on the "tail" side.
The CAB secured permission from match referee Andrew Pycroft Tuesday for using the coin for the toss.
The coin will later be handed over to Tendulkar.
Dalmiya also unveiled a souvenir on Tendulkar, which contains tributes to the master blaster by the game's legends like Imran Khan and Abdul Qadir and leading journalists.
Tendulkar announced last month that the two-Test series against the West Indies will bring the curtains down on his illustrious 24-year-long career.
The cricketing legend will be playing his 199th Test at the iconic Eden and the farewell match at Mumbai's Wankhede Nov 14-18.
