A three-year-old boy from Cambodia has been confirmed positive for the avian influenza H5N1, bringing the number of cases to 14 this year, the WHO and Cambodian authorities said Friday.

Only five of the 14 cases survived, reports Xinhua.

The latest incident was reported from Cambodia's eastern province of Prey Veng.

H5N1 influenza is a flu that normally spreads between sick poultry, but it can sometimes spread from poultry to humans.
