The Delhi Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a casino and arrested 30 people in a raid at a farmhouse in south Delhi.
The illegal casino was being run by a man named Radhe Shyam at a farmhouse owned by Major Suresh Yadav (retd) on Dera Mandi Road in Fatehpur Beri.
"It is a sprawling 13 acre farmhouse and was used for shooting of television serials and films," Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh told IANS.
"The 30 persons who have been arrested include 14 players and five female casino attendants. The rest were bar attendants. Among the players, few were businessmen and property dealers. They all are the residents of Gurugram, Faridabad and Delhi," he said.
"During the raid, it was found that the accused were gambling with playing cards on four big tables," the officer said.

Singh said plastic coins that were being used as tokens in the casino were worth over Rs 3 crore.
Thirteen luxury vehicles and 42 liquor bottles, including many big brands, have also been seized, he added.
