"Veere Di Wedding" director Shashanka Ghosh says if content is handled responsibly, the censors will be ready to side with filmmakers.
Ghosh has finished directing web series "Hey Prabhu" for the new OTT MX Player.
Giving his take on surviving censors, Ghosh said in a statement: "I feel that when your intent is to tell a story and the censorable acts are not just to sensationalise, then censors will side with you - if you have chosen to handle it responsibly."
While his "Veere Di Wedding" was a slice-of-life drama about four friends, "Hey Prabhu" is a digital web series for millennials.
