Transfer of Delhi's two "best officers" by the union home ministry has sparked a fresh row between the AAP-led Delhi government and the central government.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday criticised the central government for not consulting him about the transfers.
"Without consulting (the) elected government, (the) Modi government transfers two of our best officers out of Delhi - VAT commissioner and Director of Education," Kejriwal wrote on his Twitter-handle.
"Sends one of them to Lakshadweep. Now this is the height. Is this cooperative federalism?" he wondered in another tweet.
A Delhi government official told IANS that the union home ministry on July 24 transferred Value Added Tax (VAT) commissioner Vijay Kumar and Director of Education Padmini Singla.
