India wants neither dynastic succession in politics nor communalism, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said Thursday, adding that her Trinamool Congress offered the alternative to the BJP, Congress or Left Front in Delhi.

"Our fight is against the Congress, the BJP and the Left Front. Our fight is against corruption and communalism. Today's rally proves that democracy is for the people, and not for dynasties.

"We need 'poribortan' (change) in Delhi, and we give this call from Bengal - what Bengal thinks today, India thinks tomorrow. Bengal will show the way," Banerjee said, addressing a mammoth party rally at the Brigade Parade Grounds here.

Banerjee, who has floated the idea of a federal front comprising regional parties, said her party would work for the creation of such a force in national politics.

"A federal front of the states is necessary to empower the voice of the states," she said.
