Actor Charandeep, who was last seen in Telugu film "Loafer", has landed the role of a bike racer in upcoming Kannada film "Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi".

"It's going to be Kannada cinema's first motocross film. The hero and I play bike racers and we lock horns on the racing track. It's high on stunts and breathtaking action," Charandeep, who plays the baddie, told IANS.

The film also features Prithvi, Prakash Raj and Madhoo in important roles.

"Prakash Raj sir plays my father. This is the second time we're working together. It's always a pleasure working with him as there's so much to learn. I think we don't have a better character artist than him," he said.

Charandeep also revealed that he's been training in racing over the last few months to play his part.

"We practiced with international stunt drivers. It wasn't easy but we held our nerve and learnt riding on off-road circuit. We continue to train as we shoot," he added.
