The actress, who turns 37 Wednesday, was seen having dinner with her friends and she was presented with a cake covered in candles, reports people.com.
They later enjoyed pasta and champagne and were seen enjoying a good time at the restaurant on Aug 4.
Her friends also sang her a birthday song at the The Antica Pesa restaurant, which is generally closed on Sundays, but the owner made an exception for Theron.
