Italian cyclist Elia Viviani from the British Team Sky won the fourth and final leg of the inaugural international Abu Dhabi Tour while Columbian rider Johan Esteban Chaves secured the general classification win.
Viviani on Sunday out-sprinted world champion Peter Saga in the fourth stage which was held on the Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island near Abu Dhabi, reports Xinhua.
Chaves from the Australian team Orica-GreenEdge finished the four-day tour with a total time of 13 hours 13 minutes and 55 seconds, securing the red jersey.
The twenty-five year old Chavito won the white jersey, too, in the best young cyclist category. The key to his victory was the third stage, the mountainous trip to the desert city of Abu Dhabi near the Omani border which Chaves won on Saturday.
Viviani took home the green jersey for the general points category as the 26-year old sprinter collected 49 points during the four-day, 555 kilometers long Abu Dhabi Tour.
