The CBI Saturday registered a case against All India Institute of Medical Sciences' deputy chief security officer and the managing director of a private company and others for alleged irregularities in the purchase of security equipment.
The agency registered the case against the official, Rajeev Lochan, Kamaljeet Singh and others for cheating Rs. 1 crore through a tender issued by AIIMS to provide security services inside its campus, a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) official said.
"We have conducted raids at four places, including residence and office of Lochan and Singh, in Delhi. During the searches, incriminating documents relating to the allegations have been recovered," said an official.
