New York, April 19 (IANS/EFE) Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, revealed she is expecting her first baby.
"Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year," she said at an event in New York for the Clinton Foundation's No Ceilings: The Full Participation Project, a women's empowerment initiative.
"I certainly feel all the better whether it's a girl or a boy that she or he will grow up in world filled with so many strong female leaders," the prospective mother said.
In an interview last year, Chelsea Clinton said she was sure she would have a child this year.
"We want, God willing, to start a family. So we decided to make 2014 the Year of the Baby," she told Glamour magazine.
