Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho on Friday predicted his team will clinch the Premier League title this season.
The Blues were recently knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain, but the London club leads the Premier League table by five points with 11 games remaining.
"The people who went out on Wednesday are the same who have been top of the league since day one. They are the same people who won the Capital One Cup and the same people who are going to win the Premier League," Mourinho was quoted as saying by BBC.com on Friday.
The 52-year-old manager said that he held a meeting with his players to discuss their defeat, on away goals, in the last 16 of the Champions League and had now "closed the chapter".
"If you want to speak about the Champions League you have to go to (Arsenal manager) Arsene Wenger or (Manchester City boss) Manuel Pellegrini. They are representing England. They have to win one match and I hope they do it," he added.
"What we can do now for our club is to win the Premier League. Our situation is good. Everybody would love to be in our position. If we win the Premier League and the League Cup it's a brilliant season."
