Singer-songwriter Cheryl Cole and music mogul Simon Cowell have confirmed their professional relationship is back on track, as they both are set to return to the British version of "The X-Factor."
The music mogul has confirmed that the former "Girls Aloud" singer will return to the singing reality show as a judge, reports contactmusic.com.
Simon took to his Twitter account Monday night to announce Cheryl's long-awaited return.
In a series of tweets, the 56 year-old posted: "It's official. Cheryl is back."
"Be careful what you wish for," he added. "Most importantly she is a brilliant judge of talent."

Cole also confirmed the news via her Instagram account by posting a photograph of herself with her hands around the neck of Cowell.

The 30 year-old singer has reportedly signed a 1.5 million pounds one-year deal to come back to the programme on the judging panel.
