China added 4.73 million jobs in the first four months of 2014, official data showed Wednesday.
It was an increase of 30,000 from the same period last year, Xinhua reported.
"China's job market is growing steadily," Xin Changxing, vice minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said at a press conference here.
