China has secured the women's doubles crown after its players won their respective semifinals at the $50,000 Badminton World Federation (BWF) International Challenge at Lingshui in south China's Hainan province on Saturday.
Luo Ying and Luo Yu booked the first ticket into the women's doubles final beating fellow Chinese Du Peng and Huang Dongping 21-17 and 21-9, while the other final spot was taken by Chinese Qu Dongni and Xiong Mengjing who defeated Chiang Kai Hsin and Wu Fang Chien from Chinese Taipei, reports Xinhua.
In the men's singles, Chinese Xue Song failed to advance as he was beaten by Ng Ka Long from Hong Kong, China.
