China has repatriated 65 foreign nationals for entering the country illegally and working in the Guangxi region.
Police on Saturday said they have arrested three suspects, including a foreign national, in connection with smuggling of foreigners into China to work at a local wood company, Xinhua news agency reported.
They allegedly helped the workers cross the border illegally and charged exorbitant "transportation fees" of up to 1,500 yuan ($232) per person.
Guangxi police uncovered 145 illegal immigrant cases in their two-year campaign and apprehended 233 suspects.
