A senior judge in China's Hubei province was sacked Friday over his extramarital affair.
Zhang Jun, head of the court's third division of criminal cases, was stripped of his Communist Party of China (CPC) membership and removed from his official post, reported Xinhua citing the Hubei Provincial Higher People's Court.
Investigation against Zhang was launched by the court and the provincial CPC discipline inspection authority after an online video footage exposed his affair.
Zhang maintained the improper relations for a long time and violated party discipline, the court said.
