China's State Council on Friday launched its Chinese-language mobile app to facilitate information release and provide new services for the public.
The app will be used mainly to release major decisions by the State Council and publicise major policy documents. Information on activities of senior State Council officials will be available on the app, the China Daily reported.
The app will also serve as a channel for government affairs-related services and interactions with the public.
The app is managed by the General Office of the State Council, with the support of the English-language newspaper group China Daily.
It is available for downloading at the Apple Store, 360 Mobile Assistant, Baidu Mobile Assistant and the Tencent App Store.
