Chinese stocks opened higher on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.26 percent, to open at 4,304.6 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 14,529.24, up 0.62 percent, Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 1.75 percent to open at 2,610.74 points.
