Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.39 percent to open at 5,016.09 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 17,727.86, up 1.3 percent, Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.29 percent higher at 3,994.44 points.
