Chinese Ambassador to India Luo Zhaohu on Thursday extended an invitation to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to visit his country for exploring business possibilities in manufacturing and other key sectors of the two countries.
The Ambassador, heading a five-member delegation including Chinese Consul-Genral in Kolkata Ma Zhanwu, called on Banerjee at the state secretariat Nabanna.
"Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to India and the Consul-General of China in Kolkata had a meeting with me at the state secretariat today (Thursday).
"He extended an invitation to us to visit China to explore Bengal-China business possibilities in manufacturing and other key sectors," Banerjee said in a Facebook post.
Zhaohu and Banerjee had elaborate discussions about the business possibilities in many areas.
